Kitty's love life is at stake in the season 3 finale

Season 3 of XO, Kitty has premiered, and fans are already wondering if there is more to come for the "Chaos Queen" and the rest of her K.I.S.S. crew.

The teen drama — which is a spinoff of the To All the Boys I've Loved Before trilogy — returned to Netflix on April 2, picking up after a dramatic season 2 cliffhanger that saw Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) finally face her true feelings for her enemy-turned-crush Min Ho Moon (Sang Heon Lee).

After an opening summer episode, season 3 took place over the first semester of Kitty's senior year at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (K.I.S.S.), which, of course, was full of drama. The eighth and final episode of the season put Kitty's future into question just before she headed home for winter break.

So, will there be a season 4 of XO, Kitty? Here's everything we know so far about Kitty's next chapter.

Warning: XO, Kitty season 3 spoilers ahead.

Sorry, #MoonCovey fans. XO, Kitty hasn't been renewed just yet.

While creator Jenny Han's other big projects — including To All the Boys and The Summer I Turned Pretty — are based on books, XO, Kitty was an original spinoff project, meaning there isn't a set story line to follow each season or to complete.

When asked by Variety in April 2026 about what Min Ho and Kitty's relationship will look like in the future, showrunner Valentina Garza said she's sure that's a "question that all our fans are asking," but didn't give any confirmation on another season.

"We’re all just trying to live in the moment and bask in Season 3 right now," she said. "We’re very excited for the fans to see what we made this season, and we’ll just have to wait and see."

What would XO, Kitty season 4 be about?

With no season 4 renewal just yet, there is no confirmation about what it would be about. However, season 3's ending — which sees Kitty and Min Ho give their romance another shot and board a plane to Portland, Or., together — hints at what could come if given the green light.

As Min Ho tells Kitty before the plane takes off, he is excited to see where she came from, which will also include meeting her dad. If season 4 also includes Kitty's return to K.I.S.S., it would span her final semester of senior year before presumably heading to New York University.

But, as Garza told Variety, "only time will tell what will happen in the future" between Kitty and Min Ho.

Who would be in the cast of XO, Kitty season 4?

There wouldn't be an XO, Kitty without the titular character herself, so it's highly likely that Cathcart would return to reprise her role as the Chaos Queen.

If her hints at Min Ho meeting her dad play out in season 4, fans would likely see the return of Heon Lee, as well as John Corbett, who reprised his To All the Boys role as Kitty's father in season 1 of XO, Kitty.

Fans will have to wait and see if her K.I.S.S. crew — including Quincy "Q" (Anthony Keyvan), Yuri (Gia Kim) and Dae (Choi Min-yeong) — will reprise their roles for another season. But, here's to hoping that a trip back to America also means more sister time and another Lara Jean (Lana Condor) cameo.

Seasons 1-3 of XO, Kitty are available to stream on Netflix.

Plus, if you can't get enough of Kitty Song Covey, all three movies in the To All the Boys trilogy are also available on Netflix.
