Alix Earle was one of many famous faces who popped up during Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowlhalftime show, but her cameo sparked more speculation than some of her fellow celebrities.
Bad Bunny, 31, performed a string of his biggest hits amid the Sunday, February 8, game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Earle, 25, was spotted dancing alongsideCardi B, Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba, Karol G and more stars on the La Casita set as Bad Bunny delivered the medley.
Some viewers were left scratching their heads over Earle’s cameo as they tried to figure out her connection to Bad Bunny. Content creator Spill Sesh speculated about the reason for her inclusion in a Sunday Instagram video.
According to the social media user, Bad Bunny and Earle share a mutual acquaintance in hospitality mogul David Grutman, who danced with Earle and the others in La Casita. Grutman, 51, co-owns a Miami restaurant called Gekko with Bad Bunny. He is also an executive producer of Earle’s upcoming Netflix reality series.

Earle later reflected on her halftime show cameo in a TikTok Stories post.
“It was such an honor to experience such a special and powerful performance,” she wrote alongside a photo of the billboard projected at the end of Bad Bunny’s set, which read, “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
Earle also shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of herself “in the casita” via TikTok, captioning the video, “Bad Bunny on [top]!! I’m still shaking.”

In the comments section, some TikTok users criticized Earle’s involvement in the halftime show.
“You’ve never once used your platform and voice for the messages Bad Bunny sends,” one person wrote. “This is unbelievable and undeserved.”
However, Earle denied the social media user’s accusation, responding, “I have and being invited to do this was such an incredible experience and so special.”
Bad Bunny shared a positive message during his halftime show performance, declaring, “God bless America,” before giving shout-outs to countries in North and South America. As he concluded his set, he held up a football that read, “Together, we are America.”
Earle, for her part, announced her untitled Netflix reality show in January.
“Dad, it’s going to be fun. It’s gonna be fine,” she said in an Instagram video at the time, which showed her on a phone call outside of Netflix Studios. “I mean, what’s the worst that can happen? Just trust me. It will be fun.”
The caption read, “From your FYP to your TV: Alix Earle, her family and friends will star in an unscripted series dropping later this year on Netflix.”
