Savannah Guthrie is on the mend!**

The 54-year-old *Today* anchor shared a short but sweet health update after taking a leave of absence from the talk show last month to undergo surgery on her vocal cords. **

In an Instagram post on Monday, Guthrie shared a snapshot of herself smiling while holding up a whiteboard toward the camera. “All good!” the board read. “Thanks for prayers and love!” **

She also captioned the post, “see you soon! 💛”

Guthrie revealed on the Dec. 19 episode of *Today* that she had been diagnosed with vocal nodules and a vocal polyp. As a result, she explained that she would be taking a “couple weeks off” in the new year in order to treat the ailments.**

"Some of you have noticed that my voice has been very scratchy and started to crack a little bit like Peter Brady, who was going through a change," the cohost said at the time, referencing the classic *Brady Bunch* scene. "Well, I have found out what it is. I have vocal nodules, and now I also have a polyp."

While Guthrie assured viewers that the conditions weren’t “a big, big deal,” she noted that the surgery would require her to take some time to rest and recuperate off-air. **

"So it's my last day for a little while," she continued. "So I just want to let everyone know, and if you've been wondering, do I have the world's longest head cold? No, I don't."

Guthrie noted on the episode that she was “really excited” to have finally diagnosed the conditions, telling cohosts Craig Melvin, Al Roker, and Sheinelle Jones that she’d been experiencing problems “for years.”

The author and correspondent received a wave of love and support in the comments section of her Instagram post after sharing the update.

“Can't wait to hear that voice again soon ❤️,” the *Today* show’s official SiriusXM station's Instagram account wrote. The *Today With Jenna & Friends *account* *simply commented with two red heart emojis.

Guthrie’s longtime pal Hoda Kotb, whom she recently hosted the 2025 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with, added, “Feel better my girlxxxx.”
