Variety reports that one of the hotels The White Lotus will be filmed at is the Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez on the Côte d’Azur

The show has historically filmed each season at several hotels edited together to become a White Lotus resort

Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka have been announced as cast members of the latest season of the anthology series

Pack your bags — a White Lotus hotel has reportedly been booked.

According to Variety, one of the hotels that season four will film at is the Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez on France's Côte d’Azur. The luxurious palace-turned-hotel boasts 86 rooms and suites with pool, garden, and sea views to soak in on the relaxing property.

The chateau is steeped in history. Built in the 19th century, it was a wedding gift from a wealthy cognac merchant named Gabriel Dupuy d'Angeac to his daughter, Louise.

When her husband died, Louise decided to turn the palace into a hotel, where it became a Gatsby-esque destination during the 1920s for Parisian aristocrats.

Through the years, the hotel had different owners and was most recently restored in 2019 and reopened in 2021 as part of the Airelles Collection.

The hotel features several restaurants and bars, a spa, several pools, and a private beach club on the shores of Pampelonne Bay. Rooms reportedly cost between $3,000 and $8,000. The hotel offers tons of breathtaking space for guests to unwind — or become entangled in a scene worthy of Mike White's latest installment.

HBO declined to comment on the reported location selection.

In the past, The White Lotus has filmed at Four Seasons hotels and resorts. Seasons one and two were filmed at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea and San Domenico Palace, Taormina, a Four Seasons Hotel, respectively.

Season three was filmed at Thailand's Four Seasons Koh Samui, along with two Anantara properties and one Rosewood hotel.

Deadline reported in September that White, 55, chose France as the location for the upcoming season.

Parker Posey, who appeared in the third season of The White Lotus, confirmed that White was filming season four in France while speaking with E! Countdown to the Red Carpet ahead of the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards in September 2025.

“Mike is in the south of France now, so that's where season four's gonna be,” she said at the time, adding, "I have no idea if I'm in it.”

In late 2025, Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka were announced as the first two actors to join the cast for season 4.

All three seasons of The White Lotus are available to stream on HBO Max.
