Susan Seaforth Hayes, the longtime icon of Days of Our Lives, recently shared a glimpse into a family trip to Disneyland with fans on social media.
Hayes posted photos and videos from the outing on Instagram, writing, “Spent an enchanted time at Disneyland yesterday, hosted by my imaginative grandson, David Samuel, of Freestyle Capital.”
The actress noted that she hadn’t visited the park since she was 35, over 47 years ago.
The Daytime Emmy Award Winning actress also shared her excitement about meeting Disney icons Mickey and Minnie Mouse, joking that “they seemed to be #Days fans!”
She also thanked her assistant, Amy Shaughnessy, who helped guide the Daytime Emmy winner through several popular attractions, including Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and the Cars ride in Radiator Springs.
Hayes added that her family kept her busy throughout the day, writing, “The Samuel family, (that adorable 2 year old is Symphony Samuel (my great-grandchild), kept me in delirious motion for 10 hours of pure technicolor joy! 🐭🏰🎉”
In the comment section, her grandson David shared how active Hayes truly was, writing, “18,679 steps yesterday! Julie Williams got her workout yesterday. I can’t believe we got Grandma on Indiana Jones!”

In 2018, Hayes received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmy Awards alongside her husband Bill Hayes.
