According to sources, the second son’s offer to reunite this summer has reportedly been “brutally rejected.” After briefly meeting with his father last year, rumors sparked about Harry bringing his family to the U.K. Reports claimed that he would allegedly visit Sandringham with his wife, Meghan Markle, and two kids — Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Prince Harry’s reunion request with King Charles has reportedly been rejected due to two reasons. A source told RadarOnline that the first concern seemed to be trust. After Harry left the royal palace in 2020, his relationship dynamic with his father and brother took a hit. It got worse after he and Meghan Markle did a tell-all with Oprah Winfrey and released a memoir, “Spare.”
While it has been a few years since then, there has still been a “profound lack of trust,” which could be difficult to repair. Another reason was the security concern. “There are persistent and complicated questions around security arrangements, particularly given the sensitivities of any visit involving Harry’s immediate family,” the insider said.

Hence, these two factors have made it “difficult” for the Duke of Sussex’s reunion request to be “seriously considered.” Furthermore, the source claimed, “Those involved see it as a firm rejection rather than something open for negotiation at this stage.”
Moreover, a friend of the king said how Harry could seemingly make sure that the reunion happens in the future. According to them, the 41-year-old should be careful about keeping personal conversations private. These discussions should reportedly be kept “out of the public domain.”
Furthermore, Charles’s pal insisted that such measures have allegedly been taken as “private matters have too often become public.” On top of that, the royals have also been dealing with public scrutiny because of ex-Prince Andrew. After being stripped of his royal titles, the former prince was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
