The 18-year-old internet star confirms to PEOPLE that she and the popular Twitch streamer are dating — and that they made it official at the 2026 Super Bowl.
“We were just having fun,” Rockelle exclusively tells PEOPLE. “It was my first Super Bowl, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better person to share it with.”
Rockelle — who first rose to fame online as a part of the “Piper Squad,” a group of tween content creators on YouTube in the 2010s — adds that both she and her beau are “kind of goofy and laid back.”
“I think that just works for us,” she says. “People are going to talk s--- no matter what. But at the end of the day, we have fun, I feel safe with Rakai, and I get to be with someone I care about. That’s what matters.”

The duo first sparked dating rumors in January when Rakai shared a photo of the two arm-in-arm in a hot tub. Rockelle continued to fuel dating rumors over the next few days, sharing a video hugging Rakai in a hotel room, and later, sitting with him at the Super Bowl.
“I’m not really someone who rushes to label things, but you know what is going on by the photos,” Rockelle tells PEOPLE. “I also won’t pretend there’s not something there. You can see it in the photos.”
Rakai, most known for his streams on Twitch, maintains a combined following of over 4 million on Instagram and TikTok, where he shares comedy content.
In 2025, Rockelle was romantically linked to fellow content creator Capri Jones, telling Rolling Stone in a May interview that the duo started their fling as a “social media relationship.” They also pranked their followers on April Fool’s Day, claiming that Jones had cheated on her, which Rockelle said caused her to lose 100,000 TikTok followers as a result.
But in an October video, several weeks after the duo announced their split, Jones revealed that they had gone their separate ways because he had, in fact, cheated on Rockelle while they were going through a “really, really tough time.”

Rockelle made headlines earlier this year when she launched an account on OnlyFans, a subscription-based platform known for adult content. According to screenshots she shared to X, the internet personality earned over $2.9 million in her first 24 hours on the platform, which Rockelle told PEOPLE she used to first buy a new car for her grandma.
“I’m not going to be a kid forever,” Rockelle told Rolling Stone, responding to critics of her move to OnlyFans. “I understand that it might be hard for some people to see someone who they’ve grown up with have so many different weird little lifestyles that they’ve had. But there’s a lot of amazing people out there that are very accepting.”

Rockelle further opened up about the career move in an interview with PEOPLE, saying, “I thrive off of the hate. Honestly, I think hate has kept me around for a long, long, long time. I think, without it, I would have become a little bit irrelevant.”

The content creator also shared at the time that — after a 2022 lawsuit from former “Piper Squad” teens against her mom, Tiffany Smith, and a subsequent Netflix docuseries about the controversy — she keeps her circle incredibly tight.
“Literally no one,” Rockelle told PEOPLE of whom she could lean. “I mean, just my family. I don’t trust anybody at all, and each time I do trust someone, it just proves another reason why I shouldn’t.”
