"You've got talent!" Mandel said to a confused-looking Bane
For Desmond Bane, game barely recognized game when Howie Mandel crashed his interview on Monday night. The Orlando Magic guard was giving an interview following his teamās 123-107 rout of the Detroit Pistons on Monday, April 6 when the Americaās Got Talent judge interrupted the proceedings to show his appreciation ā and Bane looked like he had no idea who he was.In a hilarious video of the interaction, the former Memphis Grizzlies star ā who had 25 points and three blocks in the game ā stood stock still as Mandel commandeered the interview.āYouāve got talent!ā Mandel, 70, said to Bane, pointing at him for emphasis. āWho am I to judge?ā
āThank you, brother, thank you,ā Bane, 27, replied before dapping up the comedian.āThat was amazing, that was magic!ā Mandel then said, before leaving Bane to finish the interview.

The interview capped a 25-point performance for the former TCU standout, who was traded to the Magic last summer in a blockbuster deal that sent Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony and four first-round draft picks to the Grizzlies.
Bane is averaging a career-high 20.5 points a game this season, while shooting 39.4% from beyond the arc. The Magic, buoyed by the play of Bane, Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs, are 43-36 and in the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference, and currently positioned for a spot in the Play-In tournament later this month.
