Heather Dubrow revealed just how much she paid for the dress she wore at The Real Housewives of Orange County's season 19 reunion

Dubrow made the revelation to her husband, Terry Dubrow, and quizzed him on the cost of designer gowns on their joint podcast, Between Us

The first installment of the three-part reunion airs Thursday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo

Heather Dubrow isn't shelling out thousands for her The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion look.

The reality star revealed on the Monday, Nov. 3 episode of Between Us, the podcast she cohosts with husband Terry Dubrow, how much her gown cost and the surprising place she found it.

Before revealing the dress' cost, Heather, 56, asked the Botched plastic surgeon, 67, to guess how much a designer dress usually costs.

His guesses of $10,000 and $20,000 were both incorrect, said Heather, who is on her ninth non-consecutive season of the show.

"Do you know how much a container of milk costs?" she quipped, adding, "Typically, a dress for the reunion, I'd probably spend somewhere between $3,000-7,000."

Next, Heather asked her husband to guess how much she spent on the season 19 reunion dress, before quickly revealing that it only cost her "$59.99."

A pleased Terry replied, "This is going to be my favorite dress. I love it, already, I love it. I think that should be your budget from now on."

Heather explained that after not finding any luxury options she loved, she ordered "a bunch" of dresses from Amazon based on the mood board sent by Bravo's production team.

Heather said she chose the dress for its "beautiful, saturated" burgundy hue and appealing neckline.

The wide tank top strap dress also has a special perk: she can wear a "normal" bra.

"Nine out of 10 times, I'm wearing a strapless bra, and after hour two-and-a-half, it's halfway down my chest and my nipple, and I've got a double bubble," she recalled from past looks. "Or I have to wear some crazy Spanx. I just wanted to be comfortable."

The dress was network-approved, Heather confirmed, before admitting that she did not share the cost until after the reunion.

"I did hear some rumblings that someone may have said that my dress was cheap," Heather said. "To me, it's all in the wearing of it. I love a Zara dress with a Chanel belt."

However, Heather told Terry that the designer looks she tried "didn't look any better," adding, "I could have chosen anything, but that was the dress I liked, so that was the dress I chose."

The reality TV veteran said she likes to shop at Zara and H&M, in addition to luxury brands. Her Bravocon outfits will be a mix of designer and affordable picks, she revealed.

"Everyone needs to look cohesive sitting on the couches, so I do understand why there's a look and a mood board," Heather says. "But it's hard to pull the trigger on spending so much money on a dress you're only wearing once, and that maybe isn't something you want."

Terry then compared the range of costs in fashion and red wine with a helpful analogy.

"A lot of people will pick Two-Buck Chuck wine because it's sweeter, because it's more meant to please all," Terry told Heather. "But if you tell people, they instantly won't like it. People who see your dress, and they know it's inexpensive, they're going to criticize it."

Fans may spot this steal again on Heather, who mentions in the podcast that she has reworn "many" past reunion looks "multiple times."
